Section 144 clamped in Cachar, total ban on gathering in public places

ওয়েটুবরাক, ৯ জুলাই: করোনা সংক্রমণের আশঙ্কায় কাছাড় জেলায় সব ধরনের জমায়েতের ওপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করা হয়েছে৷ জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট কীর্তি জল্লি জানিয়েছেন, কঠোরভাবে ওই নিষেধাজ্ঞা মানতে হবে৷ সম্প্রতি জেলাশাসক ও পুলিশ সুপারদের ডেকে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ড. হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা কোভিড নিয়ন্ত্রণে কঠোর হতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন৷ তিনি বিশেষ করে, প্রকাশ্য জমায়েত এবং আন্তঃজেলা যাতায়াতে নিষেধাজ্ঞায় গুরুত্ব দেন৷ ওই প্রেক্ষিতেই জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট ১৪৪ ধারা জারি করে ওই দুই নিষেধাজ্ঞা মেনে চলতে জেলাবাসীর উদ্দেশে নির্দেশ জারি করেছেন৷

July 9:In view of current pandemic situation and to contain the spread of Covid, DC Cachar clamped 144 CrPC through out the district. Issuing an order to this effect on Thursday Deputy Commissioner Cachar Keerthi Jalli stated that prohibition and complete ban is imposed upon any sort of gathering in public places or elsewhere throughout the district of Cachar for containment of the spread and transmission of Covid-19 infection. The order comes into force with immediate effect and will remain in force until further order throughout the district of Cachar.
