2 employees of state irrigation department die in a road mishap

Nov. 26: Two employees of state irrigation department who were serving at Karbi Anglong lost their lives in a tragic road mishap on Friday afternoon. The accident took place in between Udali and Lumding at NH 306 when the duo were in their official Bolero vehicle. The driver lost control and hit a tree at a great pace which resulted in their death.

The deceased were identified as Gulson Teron (39) SDO of Irrigation Department, Karbi Anglong and Grade IV staff Mangalsing Tokbi (41). They were on their way from Diphu to Hamren for site inspection.
