Rotaract Club of Assam University & SMCH organises Project ‘We For Her’ at Chatla

March 22: Project We For Her was successfully accomplished with the combined effort of Rotaract Club of Assam University and Rotaract Club of Silchar Medical College at Chatla ,Silchar on 21 March, 2021. The organisers got immense support of the people of that locality for making the project a grand success.

The project began with a speech delivered by Prof. Madhumita Dhar Sarkar, Dean Dept.of Law, Assam University Silchar followed by Rtr. Joya Barbhuiya, Rtr. Swapnoneel Sarkar and Rtr. Kusumananda Nath. Another awareness session on Menstrual Hygiene was taken by Rtr. Dr. Mandira Paul ,Rtr. Dr. Sanhita Nath and Rtr. Dr. Priyom Das Purkayastha.

They distributed sanitary pads among the female assembled there in the programme and also showed them the way of proper disposal of the pads. Finally, a demo class have been given regarding proper way of hand washing.
