166 tests +ve in Assam on Monday; 131 patients discharged

Dec. 7: On Monday, out of 29,475 tests 166 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,13,925 out of which, 3,585 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.56 percent.

On Monday, 131 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,09,342 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 995.
