Rabindra Library, Assam University, Silchar launches Ebsco Mobile App for Digital Library Applications

June 16: Rabindra Library, Assam University, Silchar achieved another milestone by launching EBSCO Mobile App for its Digital Library applications, today, the 16th of June, 2022. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant, launched the Mobile App and congratulated and appreciated Team Library for its continuous efforts towards raising the service benchmarks by providing quality resources and best use of digital technology applications.

University Librarian, Dr. Vikram K Sharma while moderating the session, shared the vast range of resources and services available for furthering the research at Assam University. Dean and HOD, Swami Vivekananda School of Library Science, Prof. M.K Sinha encouraged the Assam University Fraternity to install and use the App to strengthen their research work.

This App will help in conducting quick searches, read/ listen, and save articles for later reference. The article details or links can also be shared. Mr. Raj Mahapatra of Ebsco Inc introduced the Ebsco Mobile App for Rabindra Library. The ceremony was attended by more than 100 participants in online mode, which included Research Scholars and Faculty of Assam University.
