Public holiday under NI Act declared in Cachar on 10 March on account of Holi

March 7: District Administration Cachar has declared 10 March, 2020 (Tuesday) as public holiday under N.I. Act throughout the District of Cachar in connection with “Holi festival”. All state government offices including Revenue & Magisterial courts, educational institutions, financial institutions will remain closed on that day.

The holiday will not affect emergency services and all duties and services related to various kinds of examination/written test/interviews etc. This was stated in a press release issued by the office of Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Barak Zone Assam.
