July 24: In a tragic turn of events, Principal Secretary of Govt of Assam Rajesh Prasad breathed his last on Sunday due to post-COVID complications. He was 52. Expressing his condolence, Chief Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Deeply saddened by the demise of Principal Secretary Rajesh Prasad, who passed away in Guwahati due to post-COVID complications.
