Police sings melodious song and makes people aware about coronavirus, just listen

March 31: At a time, when the nation is passing through a critical stage, social distancing my means of lockdown seems to be a plausible solution to further the spread of deadly coronavirus. The 21 days lockdown will end on 14 April, 2020. However, in many places of India, people are seen to violate lockdown not out of compulsion but out of fun and freaking. Many more have become mentally depressed being locked inside their houses. To put across the message of the risk involved in going out, Bilaspur Police has adopted a splendid move.

In a video uploaded by Bilaspur Police in its Facebook page, a police officer is seen standing near his vehicle and singing a melodious song in Karoke mode. Bilaspur is a city in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh. He sings the popular Hindi song “Ek pyar ka nagma hain.” The lyrics of the original song is written by Anand Santosh. The popular music of this movie is composed by the duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. It was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh. This song is from 1972 Hindi Film ‘Shor’ produced and directed by Manoj Kumar.

The police officer changed the lyrics of the song and used phrases meant to make people aware about coronavirus. In the video, he is seen standing near an apartment in Bilaspur and singing the song. The sound system of the police vehicle is connected to his karoke mouthpiece. Residents of the apartment could soon be seen coming out on their balconies and clapping to acknowledge the police officer. Indeed an emotional moment. Have a look at the video.
