Police seize containers containing suspected brown sugar from Sonai, 1 nabbed

way2barak, Aug. 31: The war on drugs unleashed by Assam Police is still continuing. Last night, OC Sonai and his staff conducted raid at the house of one Badrul Islam Laskar, 50 years of age, S/O Late Musaddar Ali Laskar of Village Nagdigram Pt. III, Police Station Sonai. During the raid, police team seized 43 (21.00 gm) plastic containers suspected to be brown sugar from his possession. Further investigation is on.
