PM Modi to visit Assam on 30 March

March 22: On the face of the Lok Sabha election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Assam on 30 March, 2019. The PM will address two election campaigns in Biswanath’s Gohpur and Dibrugarh’s Moran. In the last general elections in 2014, the Congress won just three seats out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam while the BJP won seven seats. This time Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has claimed to win atleast 12 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.

The BJP is cashing upon Modi magic to win the maximum number of seats and it is expected that his presence in Assam will be able to attract voters to make lotus bloom once again here.

The Lok Sabha elections in Assam will be held in three phases on April 11th, 18th and 23rd, 2019. The votes will be counted on May 23rd, 2019.
