Petrol, diesel rates hiked for 16th straight day

June 22: On Monday, petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the 16th consecutive day. In Delhi, petrol price neared Rs.80 per litre, as the fuel rate rose by 33 paise to Rs.79.56 a litre. Diesel price in the national capital was raised by 58 paise to Rs.78.85 per litre. With the hike continuing even in the 16th consecutive day, there seems to be no respite for the common man.
