Parimal Suklabaidya chairs meeting of Asom Adarxo Gram Yojana in Silchar

July 7: A district level committee meeting on implementation of initial schemes under with all village level committee members was held at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday. All the heads of departments and members of execution committee were present in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the the Minister of Excise, Fishery, Forest & Environment Parimal Shuklabadya in presence of all the MLAs of Cachar district.

It is pertinent to mention here that in cachar district, 14 villages have been identified for conversion to model villages. It was informed in the meeting that Rs 50 lakh for each villages has been received from Government. In the meeting, discussion was held regarding changing of few schemes as per the guideline and simultaneously move for the preparation of Village development plan by the village development committee.

Entry gate of villages, drinking water, upgradation of school and AWC, solar street light etc will now be included in the scheme. District Development Commissioner, Jessica Lalsim, District Planning Officer Ruli Doulagaphu and Assistant Planning Officer Sanghita Gupta were also present in the meeting.
