BJP certain of forming ZP at Cachar with 16/11

১৪ ডিসেম্বরঃ অনিশ্চয়তার অবসান। চারটি আসনের গণনা বাকি থাকতেই বিজেপি কাছাড় জেলা পরিষদের ১৫টি আসন জিতে নিয়েছে। ২৭ আসনের পরিষদে ম্যাজিক ফিগার ১৪। কংগ্রেস তখন ছিল ৮-এ। বাকি ৪টির মধ্যে শুধু দক্ষিণ কাটিগড়ার গণনা চলছে এখনও। সেখানে লড়াইয়ে কংগ্রেস-বিজেপি। শেষ বেলার তিনটি কংগ্রেস একাই ঝুলিতে পুরতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। তাতে সর্বশেষ ফলাফল ১৫-১১। দক্ষিণ কাটিগড়া বিজেপি জিতবে বলেই অনুমান করা হচ্ছে।

বিজেপি-র জেতা আসনগুলি পশ্চিম সোনাই (মানব  সিং), পূর্ব ধলাই (স্বপনকুমার দাস), পশ্চিম ধলাই (লক্ষ্মীরানি যাদব), মধ্য ধলাই (শশাঙ্কচন্দ্র পাল), উত্তর উধারবন্দ (ধনঞ্জয় তেলি), পূর্ব উধারবন্দ (বিজয়েতা মাহাতো), পশ্চিম উধারবন্দ (প্রবাল চন্দ), উত্তর লক্ষ্মীপুর (সুদীপ কুমার), পূর্ব লক্ষ্মীপুর (অনিতা দেবী), দক্ষিণ লক্ষ্মীপুর (শিপ্রা পাণ্ডে), পূর্ব বড়খলা (গীতন নাথ), উত্তর বড়খলা (তাপসী দাস), পশ্চিম কাটিগড়া (লাভলি চক্রবর্তী), পশ্চিম শিলচর (রামকৃষ্ণ সিনহা) ও পূর্ব আলগাপুর (অমিতাভ রাই)।

কংগ্রেসের নতুন জেলা পরিষদ সদস্যরা হলেন আসবিনা বেগম বড়ভুইয়া (পূর্ব সোনাই), মুসলিমা বেগম (উত্তর সোনাই), শেলি বেগম লস্কর (মধ্য সোনাই), কমরুল ইসলাম (দক্ষিণ ধলাই), বেলিয়ারা বেগম (দক্ষিণ উধারবন্দ), আব্দুল করিম চৌধুরী (পশ্চিম লক্ষ্মীপুর ), নাজিমা বেগম (পশ্চিম বড়খলা), তিলকচান্দ দাস (উত্তর কাটিগড়া), নিলুফা খানম বড়ভুইয়া (পূর্ব কাটিগড়া)., কানুরঞ্জন দাস (দক্ষিণ বড়খলা) ও রানি রবিদাস (পূর্ব শিলচর)।

December 14: As per information received from ISBT and ISTT Ramnagar where counting of votes for Panchayat Election is still on, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading the show at Zilla Parishad Cachar and will be forming the board in all probability.

Out of the 27 Zilla Parishad (ZP), results of 23 seats were officially declared. BJP has won 15 seats while the rest 8 have gone to Congress. Counting is still on in the remaining 4 seats. However, our correspondent from ISBT has informed that in that 4 seats, BJP is leading in one seat whereas Congress is ahead in 3 seats.

On this basis, it is highly probable that out of the total 27 ZP seats of Cachar, BJP will win 16 seats while the rest 11 seats will go to Congress. Given this data, it is almost certain that BJP is going to form the Zilla Parishad at Cachar.
