Caste certificates to Bishnupriya Manipuri’s can now be issued by Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha

April 2: In the weekly Assam Cabinet on 2 April, several key decisions regarding pertaining to land measurement, extending school coverage, issuance of caste certificates, conservation of nature and infrastructure development etc., among others were taken. The Cabinet Meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. 

President & General Secretary of Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabha, Assam State Committee has been made the recommending authority for issuing of caste certificates to Bishnupriya Manipuri community.
