Out of 1,20,156 tests done on Monday, 3644 found +ve in Assam; 12 deaths registered
Active cases 32,982 in Assam
Sept. 28: On Monday, a total of 1,20,156 tests were done in the state, out of which, 3644 were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus has now gone upto 1,73,629, out of which 32,982 are active cases. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 3644 #COVID cases detected today out of 120156 tests. Positivity Rate ~ 3.03% Kamrup M- 563; Golaghat- 284; Jorhat- 237; Sonitpur- 197.”
Further, during the day, another 12 persons died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 667.
