Only 4 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 6 discharged

July 18: Hailakandi registered only 04 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 04 positive cases detected on Saturday, 03 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 94 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 530 RAT tests and 64 RT-PCR tests were done. 06 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,697 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,180 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 07 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date 48 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. No vaccination session was held in the district on Sunday.
