Online transfer portal for intra & inter-district single transfer application has started: Edu Minister

Aug. 10: With effect from midnight on 9 August, 2022, the online transfer portal for intra and inter district single transfer application has been opened. Subsequent procedure shall follow to accept or reject applications. Alongside, the mutual transfer option would continue to be available to the teachers.

In this connection, Secretary to the Govt of Assam in the Secondary Education Department on 9 August stated, “In the public interest and in order to facilitate the transfer of the Teachers during the first year of the initiation of the Online Portal for the Transfer of the Teachers, the Government of Assam in the Secondary Education Department, in exercise of the powers under Rule 18 of the Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers’ (Regulation of posting and transfer) Rules, 2022, shall give effect to a separate schedule for the operation and procedures in the online transfer portal. Therefore, the online transfer portal shall open w.e.f from the midnight of 09— August, 2022, to enable the Teachers to submit their application for intra and inter District Transfers including intra and inter mutual transfers, in the online mode and the subsequent procedures shall follow, to give effect to the transfer of the Teachers.”
