One tests Covid-19 +ve in Cachar on Sunday

Feb. 28: On Sunday, only 01 new case of COVID-19 was reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 440 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, none were found positive, whereas, 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on  Sunday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has stands at 11,484.  Further, a total of 11,443 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are only 03 active cases of COVID-19 in the district. All of them are in home isolation.
