None found Covid+ve in Karimganj & Hailakandi on Thursday

Dec. 16: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Thursday too , Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether has 03 active COVID-19 case. During the day, 750 RAT tests and 89 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,926 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,496 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,987 persons were vaccinated on Thursday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Thursday. The district has currently 18 active COVID cases, while no patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Thursday. 805 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Wednesday.
