None found Covid+ve in Karimganj & Hailakandi on Sunday

Nov. 28: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Sunday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 03 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 72 RAT tests and 01 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,923 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,493 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,591 persons were vaccinated on Friday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Sunday. The district has currently 12 active COVID cases, while 01 patient was discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Sunday. 435 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Saturday.
