None found Covid+ve in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Sunday

Dec. 19: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Sunday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether has 07 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 65 RAT tests and 21 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,930 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,496 patients were discharged. It needs mention here 02 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 240 persons were vaccinated on Sunday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Sunday. The district has currently 16 active COVID cases, while 01 patient was discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Sunday. 491 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Saturday.
