None found Covid +ve for 2nd consecutive day in Hailakandi, 1 discharged

Aug. 30: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. For the 2nd consecutive day, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 cases on Monday. The district has altogether 11 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 750 RAT tests and 106 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,871 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,437 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,740 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
