None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & Karimganj on Wednesday

Nov. 3: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Wednesday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 06 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 394 RAT tests and 66 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,914 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,481 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 523 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Wednesday. The district has currently 09 active COVID cases, while 01 patient was discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Wednesday. 572 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that none were detected positive in Karimganj on Tuesday.
