None found Covid positive in Hailakandi, 6 in Karimganj on Friday

Oct. 29: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Friday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 06 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 420 RAT tests and 55 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,912 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,479 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,508 persons were vaccinated on Friday.

Karimganj registered 06 fresh COVID cases on Friday. The district has currently 19 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Friday. 969 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that none were detected positive in Karimganj on Thursday.
