None found Covid positive in Hailakandi, 3 +ve in Karimganj on Saturday

Oct 2: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Saturday, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 04 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 488 RAT tests and 34 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,894 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,467 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 12,717 persons were vaccinated on Saturday.

Karimganj registered 03 fresh COVID cases on Saturday. The district has currently 07 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Saturday. 1,126 swab samples were collected during the day.
