None found Covid positive in Hailakandi & 1 +ve in Karimganj on Monday

Nov. 22: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday too, Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 05 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 384 RAT tests and 68 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,922 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,490 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 4,506 persons were vaccinated on Monday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID case on Monday. The district has currently 06 active COVID cases, while no patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 548 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 01 person was detected positive in Karimganj on Sunday.
