NGO Paavan celebrates pre-Christmas event with children of the marginalised sector

Dec. 24: Christmas is a celebration, a time for giving and not simply a day we exchange gifts. The spirit of Christmas is in the ‘togetherness’, it’s in the thought to which you put into thinking about others, it’s a selfless time, where we forgive, take stock of what’s important and become ‘better’ versions of ourselves. With such benign thoughts in mind, NGO PAAVAN celebrated its pre-Christmas event at 1310 Ghungur L.P. School with the pupils mostly belonging to the marginalized section of the society.

PAAVAN donated two Green boards, chalk boxes, dusters, learning charts to the school committee members in the presence of a few teachers and the Head Teacher, Pradip Kumar Nunia. The members of PAAVAN gifted the students skill based copies, classroom items, snacks and fruits wishing them bright future ahead.

Members present on behalf of PAAVAN included Arundhati Dutta Choudhury, Anushaka Chakravorty, Namrata Nath and Saptayudh Datta Choudhury among others.
