New record of 18,552 +ve cases in last 24 hours in India, total cases exceed 5 lakh

June 27: COVID-19 cases in the country have crossed the 5 lakh-mark after India registered 18,552 new cases in the last 24 hours. The previous record of one-day highest was 17,296 which was registered on Friday. With this, the number of coronavirus cases In India has risen to 5,08,953 as per the data issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The death toll related to COVID-19 has gone upto 15,685. Till now, 2,95,881 patients were cured and discharged. At present, there are 1,97,387 active cases in the country.
