New Executive Committee Takes Charge at BVP Dakshin Silchar Branch

way2barak, May 8 : In an atmosphere marked by harmony, commitment and renewed enthusiasm for social service, the Annual General Meeting of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Dakshin Silchar Branch, was held on May 7, 2026. The gathering reflected the collective spirit of service and cultural values that the organisation has continued to nurture over the years. On the occasion, a new Executive Committee was formed to guide the branch in its forthcoming journey of social and humanitarian activities. Amid warm appreciation from members, Dr. Kingshuk Adhikari assumed the charge of President for the fourth consecutive year, symbolising the confidence and trust reposed upon him. Mr. Sankar Sarkar and Mr. Siddhartha Sankar Chakraborty assumed the responsibilities of Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

The branch also entrusted the responsibilities of Vice Presidents to Prof. Debotosh Chakraborty, Prof. Himadri Sekhar Das and Dr. Darshana Patoa. Other members of the Executive Committee are Dr. Pranesh Debnath, Dr. Nabendu Banik, Dr. Subhadeep Roy Choudhury, Dr. Ranjana Dhar and Mr. Biswaraj Chakraborty.

The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to strengthen the ideals of service, culture and national harmony, carrying forward the light of collective goodwill into the days ahead
