NEET 2020: New dress code for the examinees
Sept. 8: Amid the coronavirus pandemic, National Testing Agency would finally be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), 2020 UG examination on 13 September, 2020. Candidates were asked to keep track on the official website ntaneet.nic.in from time to time. Students are advised to carefully go through the instructions printed on the admit card to understand the things that are allowed and not allowed Here’s a look at the dress code – what you can and cannot wear to NEET 2020.
- Face masks and gloves are mandatory and all candidates must wear them
- Cultural, customary dresses are allowed at the examination centre
- Light clothes are recommended and advised to the candidates
- Long sleeves for male and female candidates are NOT permitted
- As for footwear, slippers and sandals are allowed for both male and female candidates. Shoes are not allowed.
- Heavy jewellery, watches and any other wearable devices are not allowed. Customary headgear is permitted.
Further, Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices are NOT allowed.
