Narcotics worth ₹3 crore seized from Panchgram in Hailakandi

May 2: Hailakandi Police has achieved great success in the ongoing war against drugs. Huge quantity of narcotics were seized by the police from NH 6 near Panchgram in Hailakandi district. As per reports, 2.6 kg Yaba tablets and 357 gram suspected heroin were seized from the oil tanker of a Maruti Alto car bearing No MZ02 9626. The market price of the seized drugs is worth around Rs. 3 crore. This was confirmed by Nirmal Ghosh, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Hailakandi.
