Leo Vision starts unique online ‘beat corona challenge contest’, click to participate

March 26: Are you bored of staying home ? Don’t go out please ! You take up the Challenge instead ! Yes, these are catch phrases of Leo Club of Silchar Vision who have come out with an unique way to utilise the 21 days lockdown period. Thursday marked the second day of the three-week lockdown period. We have lost 16 lives till now. More than 700 persons in the country have tested positive for COVID-19. We just cannot afford to lose more live. To engage people inside their house, we have started this online challenge. This was stated by Tamal Chakraborty, President of Leo Club of Silchar Vision.

Leo Club of Silchar Vision invites you to join the #Stay_home, #beat_corona_challenge_contest ! So what exactly you should do?  Well, first of all, you need to accept the challenge and post it on your Facebook account with the tag #challenge_accepted; take pledge to make your effort to save the nation by not going out of your home unnecessarily during the lockdown period. Oh, yes, please don’t forget to mention #LeoClubofSilcharVision , #Stay_home, #beat_corona_challenge_contest, #IndiaFightsCorona while posting.

During the lockdown period, each day try to make something, say for instance, of an artistic type; may be some painting, hand craft, needle work (embroidery or so), artificial flower, jewellery, show pieces, craft using paper etc. You can also choose gardening or writing poems, articles, short stories etc. whatever you like. After having done, take picture of your work and post it in social media platforms dedicating the work to those who are taking care of our safety and well-being in this though situation.

Nominate your friends to take the challenge and make them aware of the importance of staying home to beat Corona and ask them to follow government’s advice strictly. Request them to follow too, whatever is written in the previous paragraph and nominate their friends and family members by sharing the post in Facebook.

After completion of lockdown period, Leo Vision will organise an exhibition in honour of all those who are taking care to fight Corona, where all of your artistic works will be placed. We shall request the guests/ visitors present to take something from the exhibited articles and shall request them to donate some amount as per their wish in turn.

The money collected shall be deposited in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund immediately after collection. In this way, hope we all can make a  small effort from our end to contribute something to support the government to fight back Corona and it’s impact on people’s life.

So why to wait. Just jump on your favourite work, take up the challenge and invite others too!
