Assam registers 2 more COVID-19 deaths, tally reaches 66

July 22: Another two persons in Assam have died due to COVID-19 on Wednesday. They were identified as Alok Ghosh (54) from Jorhat and Haren Boron (47) from Kamrup Metro. With this, the death tally of the state has gone upto 66. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “They lost the battle against #COVID19 today taking total death count in Assam to 66. My thoughts and prayers are with their families.”
