Lotus blooms in Karimganj, Badarpur & Ramkrishna Nagar Municipal election
March 9: BJP has emerged as the single largest majority party in the Karimganj, Badarpur and Ramkrishna Nagar Municipal Board elections, the results for which were declared on 9 March, 2022. The election to 80 Municipal Boards in Assam took place on 6 March.
Karimganj Municipal Board:
- BJP: won in 23 wards
- Congress: won in 03 wards
- Independent: won in 01 ward.
The total number of awards in Karimganj Municipality is 27
