Lions & Leo Clubs of Silchar Greater gives food items at Sundari Mohan Sewa Bhawan

Feb. 13: Lions Club of Silchar Greater along with Leo Club of Silchar Greater gave fruits & nutritious drink to the patients admitted at Sundari Mohan Sewa Bhawan (Kalyani Hospital). District Governor Lion Rajkumar Ringania (of Lion Dist 322g) in the presence of another cabinet member from Barak Valley Lion Satyajyoti Bhattacharjee handed over the food items to Dr. Kumar Kanti Das (Lakkhan Das) on Friday.

Earlier, District Governor Lion Rajkumar Ringania felicitated Dr. Kumar Kanti Das on behalf of the Lions Club. He also discussed about the various requirements of the hospital and assured of cooperation in the future days also. Sundari Mohan Sewa Bhawan caters to the patients not only of Barak Valley but also from the adjoining states of Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram.

Lions and Leo Clubs of Silchar Greater recently also visited Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and met the Director Padmashri Dr.Ravi Kannan. They have donated 100 tissue roles as per the need of the hospital. On behalf of Lions and Leo Clubs of Silchar Greater, Zone Chairperson of Lions Club International cum Leo Advisor Lion Sabyasachee Rudra Gupta, Lions Silchar Greater President Lion Anoop Dutta, Leo Silchar Greater President Leo Debosmita Biswas and other members of both the clubs were present during the occasion.
