Lions Ananta in collaboration with IOC organises eye screening camp for truck drivers

way2barak, Sept.11: Lions Club of Silchar Ananta organised its second eye screening camp in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) at Moinarbond Depot with the guidance of the doctors of ophthalmology, Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) on 10 September. A total of 81 truck drivers of the the department were checked, wherein 1 patient was detected with cataract.

Lions Club of Silchar Ananta expressed its gratitude to Keisham Tomasu, Senior Depot Manager and the safety officer of the plant Anjali Lodha for providing them an opportunity to offer humane service. They also expressed profound thanks to Dr Debojit Deka,Dr Swarnali Sarkar and the hospital authority for providing them their valuable time to make the camp a successful one. A total of 4 Lion members were present in the camp.
