Leo club of Silchar felicitates the medical fraternity

Aug. 18: Silchar Leos felicitated the medical fraternity to mark the 75th Independence Day of India. Leo club of Silchar with its new captain Leo Dr Paramita Paul has acknowledged the hard work and tremendous effort put in during Covid pandemic by Team SMCH (Silchar Medical College & Hospital) and handed over a citation to the to its Principal Dr. Babul Kumar Bezbaruah. They also handed a citation to Dr. Riturag Thakuria who also has been a strong pillar in the fight against pandemic. Leo club of Silchar has further taken a step forward in felicitating Dr. Sumona Naiding, district immunization officer, Cachar for her services in the vaccination drive of the district.

The club President mentioned that vaccination is the most important and first step towards disease control. Dr. Sumona and her team has been managing the Covid vaccination drive along with other vaccines in the most appreciable manner.

The Leo club of Silchar popularly known as Silchar Leos conducted the entire program in the presence of their District president Leo Abhishek Chakrabarty, Leo Anupriya Deb, Leo Mou Deb, Leo Ankit Dey, Leo Ruchika Das and Leo Dikhshita.
