Period for release of provisional salary of newly-appointed teachers extended for 6 months

Sept. 19: The period for release of Provisional Salary to newly-appointed teachers of Elementary & Secondary Education has been extended for further 6 months. This was informed by State Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu on Sunday.

The Education Minister further stated, “This will ensure timely release of their salary for next 6 months. And meanwhile we will complete the statutory approval of 1st salary proposal.” The notification issued in this connection also mentioned “This is a one-time arrangement made due to administrative exigency and will not be cited as a precedent in future. ”
