Workshop on NEP 2020 in GC Colg

Way2barak, March 20 : A one day workshop on NEP 2020 was organised by the Geology Department of G.C College, Silchar. Prof. Parag Phukon of Gauhati University as the Resource Person of the workshop. He is also a member of the State Level Quality Assurance Committee.

During the workshop, he delivered deeper into the several related areas envisioned in the NEP 2020 document. He addressed the students and expressed how NEP 2020 would imbibe in them the desired level of skill that the students may gain following the NEP framework and the curriculum of studies.

Besides the teachers, the workshop was attended by students from the department of Geology, Statistics, anthropology, and Mathematics. The workshop was Convened by Dr. L. Joy Chandra Singha of the Department of Geology. The workshop also witnessed good interaction by the students raising pertinent questions to which Prof. Phukon gave befitting responses to satisfy the students.
