KYBC Foundation’s Institute for Yoga Education and Research Organises Yogic Wellness Workshop at Behara Saraswati Vidya Niketan

Way2barak, October 14 : The year-long yoga initiative of Katigorah’s Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre (KYBC) Foundation commenced on Sunday, October 11. Marking the auspicious onset of Devi Paksha, the foundation hosted a workshop titled “Dhyan Se Gyan” at Behara Saraswati Vidya Niketan. The session was conducted by the foundation’s yogic and holistic wing, the Institute for Yoga Education, Research and Holistic Sciences, drawing active participation from 70 students across various classes.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and prayers for universal well-being. Veteran yoga Trainer and retired teacher Kulmani Mishra graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside teacher and social activist Radhakanta Suklabaidya as the guest of honour, both of whom highlighted the profound value of yogic education. Reminiscing fondly about his days of practice with the late yogaguru Radhesh Chandra Chakraborty, founder of the Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre, an emotional Mishra urged the younger generation to integrate yoga into their daily routine for enhanced concentration and a healthy, fulfilling life.
Expressing his appreciation, the school’s Headmaster (Pradhan Acharya), Banamali Suklabaidya, stated that the students benefited immensely from the programme, noting how the resource persons demonstrated that yoga can be taught in an engaging, accessible manner for learners of all ages. Practical training sessions were steered across multiple segments by Yogacharya Rahul, Yoga Master Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, and the Chief Coordinator of the Institute for Yoga Education, Nirojit Das. Faculty members Aparna Suklabaidya, Mausumi Dey, Kalpita Das, and Manoj Sinha were also in attendance.
The workshop concluded with the foundation felicitating the Headmaster and invited dignitaries, along with presenting a memento to the school for actively promoting yoga education. Certificates of participation were subsequently distributed to the students by the guests and organisers. Notably, this workshop was organized as part of the extensive year-long programmes announced earlier to commemorate the 38th foundation day of the Katirail Yoga Byayam Centre.
