way2barak, Oct.28: In a late evening operation, Directorate Vigilance & Anti Corruption Assam trapped red handed and arrested KK Sharma ACS, Joint Secretary to Govt of Assam after accepting Rs. 90,000 from complainant for renewal of security firm license. This was informed in a tweet by GP Singh, Special DGP Assam on Friday night.

Further to trap & arrest of KK Sharma last evening, search by Directorate Vigilance & Anti Corruption Assam at his residential premise has led to recovery of unaccounted cash INR 49 Lacs 24 thousand 700. The same is being seized and lawful action taken. Assam Police CMO Assam
