Jatinga- Harangajao portion of the road damaged by landslide to be opened by 31 May

May 22: Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanata Biswa Sarma on Sunday had a discussion with NHAI Chairperson Alka Upadhyay in New Delhi on issues related to national highways in Assam. The Chief Minister stressed on urgent repair of the flood and landslide-affected National Highways in the state and timely completion of the ongoing projects.

CM Sarma said, “We especially discussed the present state of the road from Maibang to Harangajao in Dima Hasao district, including its 6 severely damaged portions. Glad that the NHAI Chairperson assured to open the Jatinga-Harangajao portion of the road by 31st May, 2022.”

Had a fruitful discussion with NHAI Chairperson Smt Alka Upadhyay in New Delhi on issues related to national highways in Assam.
