It’s raining gold at CWG 2022: Wrestler Ravi Dahiya bags India’s 10th gold medal

Aug. 6: Till now India had won 9 Gold Medals at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022. However, on Saturday late evening, Wrestler Ravi Dahiya won the men’s freestyle 57 kg event on Saturday to bag India’s 10th gold medal at Commonwealth Games, 2022.

The 24-year-old, who had won a silver medal at Tokyo Olympics last year, defeated Nigeria’s Ebikewenimo Welson in the final to win his first CWG medal. Out of India’s 10 gold medals, four have come from wrestling.

India won 10 Gold Medals, 11 Silver Medals and 10 Bronze Medals till 6 August (Total 31 Medals).
