Inner Wheel Club, Silchar felicitates ‘superheroes in white coats’ on World Doctors Day

July 2: On the occasion of World Doctor’s Day on 1 July, ‘superheroes in white coats’ were felicitated by Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Silchar. The members of IWC, Silchar visited different hospitals in the town and felicitated the doctors who played the role of saviours during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Those doctors who were felicitated during the day were Dr. Arun Paul Choudhury, Dr. Amal Laha and some of the junior physicians. Expressing their views, the members of IWC Silchar said, “We express our gratitude for their selfless contributions to the society and we are deeply indebted to them. To show our gratitude, we gave to each one of them a memento, bouquet, and also a token gift. They are indeed our ‘superheroes in white coats’.

On behalf of Inner Wheel Club, Silchar, its President Shilpi Ghosh, Secretary Minu Gope, IPP Sutapa Bhattacharjee, Vice President Moumita Gupta and Treasurer Indrani Deb Bhattachrjee were present during the occasion.
