Inner Wheel Club, Silchar donates desks & benches at Netaji Vidya Bhawan Girls High School

Feb. 5: Continuing their humanitarian move, Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Silchar donated five pairs of desks and benches for the students of Netaji Vidya Bhawan Girls High School, Silchar. Besides, the club members also distributed nutritious food among the students of the school.

Expressing delight, Sutapa Bhattacharjee, President of IWC, Silchar said, “I am really privileged to hand over the desks and benches in Netaji School. My happiness became multiplied as I am also an alumnus of the school. The Principal and all the teachers of the schools appreciated the initiative of Inner Wheel Club, Silchar.”

Debanjan Mukherjee, Principal of Netaji Vidya Bhawan Girls High School, Silchar expressed his happiness at the kind gesture of IWC, Silchar. He on behalf of the school fraternity thanked Inner Wheel Club, Silchar for their noble initiative. He said, “The students of the school has been performing well in the HSLC. From this year (2021), Netaji Vidya Bhawan Girls High School has been selected as one of the Centres for HSLC Examination. The desks and benches donated by IWC, Silchar will help is immensely in conducting the HSLC exam.”

Apart from the the club President Sutapa Bhattacharjee, the other members of Inner Wheel Club who were present during the occasion were its Secretary Shilpa Ghosh, Treasurer Subinita Biswas, Moumita Gupta, Madhuparna Basak, Sangita Banik, Anju Patwa and Anindita Dey.
