Inner Wheel Club celebrated Teacher’s Day

Way2barak, September 6 : Inner Wheel club of Silchar celebrated Teacher’s day with great enthusiasm yesterday at Rotary club premises. On that occasion 15 teachers of different government schools of Cachar district were awarded with the Inner Wheel India Literacy Mission’s(IILM) “EDUCATIONIST AWARD”.

The teachers among the club members were also felicitated on the same day. Two new members namely Flora Paul and Seema Khandelwal were inducted into the club.

The members present were President Madhumita Paul, Joint Secretary Ankita Ghosh, Treasurer Moumita Gupta, ISO Sampa Banik, Dr Manjari Verma, Sutapa Bhattacharjee, Archana Choudhury, Mousami Ghosh, Pinki Gang, Shilpi Ghosh, Sumitra Saha, Mohul Mitra and Shefali Khandelwal.

A wheel chair was presented to a specially abled girl named Sucharita Das of Dudhpatil area of Cachar on behalf of the club. This wheel chair is sponsored by club member Mrs Pinki Gang.
