India’s Rise Cannot Be Stopped Despite Foreign Conspiracies: Naravane
বিদেশি চক্রান্ত রুখতে পারবে না ভারতের উত্থান : নারাভানে

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ২১ জানুয়ারি : ভারতের উত্থান সহ্য হচ্ছে না বিদেশি শক্তিগুলোর। তাই নানাভাবে ভারতকে অশান্ত করার চক্রান্ত চলছে। তবে এইসব চক্রান্ত কোনও কাজে আসবে না। ভারত তার অগ্রগতির পথে এগিয়ে যাবেই। এ মন্তব্য করেছেন প্রাক্তন সেনাপ্রধান মনোজ মুকুন্দ নারাভানে। বুধবার তিনি আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ২৩ তম সমাবর্তনের সমাপনী পর্বে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

আচার্য তথা প্রাক্তন বায়ুসেনা প্রধান অরূপ রাহার পরিচালনায় আয়োজিত সমাবর্তনে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে প্রাক্তন সেনাপ্রধান নারাভানে বলেন, বৈচিত্র্যই আমাদের শক্তি। জ্ঞান, শান্তি ও উন্নয়নই ‘বিকশিত ভারতের’ মূল সত্তা। তিনি সমাজের স্তম্ভ হিসেবে ন্যায়, সমতা ও স্বাধীনতার গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন এবং ভ্রাতৃত্ব বা ‘ভাইচারা’কে এই মূল্যবোধগুলির পরিপূরক হিসেবে উল্লেখ করেন।

প্রাক্তন চিফ এয়ার মার্শাল অরূপ রাহা বলেন, কঠোর পরিশ্রমের কোনও বিকল্প নেই। নিষ্ঠা, সততা ও একাগ্রতার সঙ্গে কাজ করলে সুফল নিশ্চিত। তিনি প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থীদের সাফল্যের প্রসঙ্গ তুলে ধরে বর্তমান শিক্ষার্থীদের ‘সফট স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট’ ও ‘মেক ইন ইন্ডিয়া’ উদ্যোগে অংশগ্রহণের আহ্বান জানান।

উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ বলেন, যুব শক্তিই ভারতের শক্তি। পুরো দেশ আজ এই যুবশক্তির দিকে তাকিয়ে আছে। তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের ভবিষ্যৎ জীবনের সঠিক দিশা নির্ধারণ করা ও ধারাবাহিকভাবে নিজেকে আরও উন্নত করার চেষ্টা করার আহ্বান জানান।

এদিন স্নাতক স্তরের মোট ১৮ জন শিক্ষার্থীকে স্বর্ণপদক ও ৫ জনকে অনুদানভিত্তিক পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হয়। মঞ্চে ছিলেন ডিফু ক্যাম্পাসের সহ-উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক শিবাশিস বিশ্বাস, নিবন্ধক প্রদোষ কিরণ নাথ, পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক সুপ্রবীর দত্তরায় সহ বিভিন্ন স্কুলের ডিনরা।

Way2barak, January 21 : Foreign powers are unable to tolerate India’s rise and are therefore attempting, in various ways, to create unrest in the country. However, such conspiracies will not succeed, and India will continue to move forward on its path of progress. This was stated by former Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane. He was speaking on Wednesday as the chief guest at the concluding session of the 23rd convocation of Assam University.

Addressing the convocation, former Army Chief Naravane said that diversity is India’s strength. Knowledge, peace, and development are the core essence of a “Vikshit Bharat.” He highlighted the importance of justice, equality, and freedom as pillars of society, and described fraternity or “brotherhood” as a complementary value to these principles.

Former Chief Air Marshal Arup Raha said that there is no alternative to hard work. He noted that dedication, integrity, and focus inevitably lead to success. Referring to the achievements of former students, he urged current students to focus on soft skill development and to actively participate in the Make in India initiative.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajive Mohan Pant stated that youth power is India’s true strength, and that the entire nation is looking towards its youth today. He encouraged students to set the right direction for their future lives and to continuously strive for self-improvement.

On the occasion, a total of 18 undergraduate students were awarded gold medals, while five students received endowment-based awards. Present on the dais were Diphu Campus Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shibashis Biswas, Registrar Pradosh Kiran Nath, Controller of Examinations Suprabir Dutta Roy, along with deans of various schools.
