I met TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee & hope to help in realising her vision, says Sushmita Dev

Aug. 16: Hours within tendering her resignation letter to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Sushmita Dev went to Kolkata and formally joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Expressing her views, Sushmita Dev said, “I arrived at Kolkata this morning accompanied by Honb’le Member of Parliament Derek O’Brien. I had the opportunity to meet Abhishek Banerjee who is the general Secretary of All India Trinamool Congress. It was a very very good discussion with him. He has an excellent vision and clarity for the party. After that, i went to meet the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal at her office. It was an excellent discussion. Clearly she has laid an excellent future vision for the party and I hope to be helpful in that regard.”

“I will be addressing a press meet tomorrow at Delhi and answering questions on any details anyone may want,” added Ms Dev.
