2,277 found Covid +ve in Assam, 13 deaths registered on Sunday

Jan. 23: On Sunday, out of 18,117 tests, 2,77 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,92,811. The positivity rate in the state is 12.57 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 771 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 13 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,288. The recovery rate is 92.57 percent.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 5,580 persons tested positive in Assam and 13 deaths were registered.
