Huge number of 701 patients discharged on Friday in Assam

July 10: On Friday, a huge number of 701 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. In the midst of rising number of fresh cases, this news has brought in some relieve for the government. With this, a total of 9848 patients were released in the state as of now. The total number of coronavirus cases in Assam had reached 14,600, out of which, 4714 are active cases. Friday witnessed the death of 8 more COVID-19 patients, taking the death tally to 35. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “701 patients discharged today in Assam today~ some good news in these difficult times. Kindly do take care post recovery.:
